The Turia River (which is actually the Turia Park) is another fantastic study spot. Especially in the
warmer and sunnier spring and summer months, shady spots under the many trees in the sunken
park could be ideal. The park runs all the way from the La Ciudad de Artes y Ciencias (The City
of Arts and Sciences), one of the most famous architectural zones of this famously beautiful city,
around the entire city centre, old town and modern areas. Many people use the park as a sort of
pedestrian and bike ‘ring-road’ as it allows circumventing all the busy and noisy roads. The park has
countless grassy hills, shady trees, benches and tables and more. You will be able to find a relaxed
and secluded spot very easily and it’s a fantastic location for people-watching when the studying
gets too much.
