Whether YUEILI’s students wish to just carry out a four
week programme or spend a few months immersed
in the YUELI experience, they will enjoy world-class
language teaching at the institute, which has a long-
held emphasis on cross-cultural understanding as one
of the core tenets of language learning. In what they
term the ‘YUELI Effect’, students who attend the institute
consistently outperform international students who opt
for direct entry into the university.
As all language learners know, there is no better way to
pick up skills than to speak to natives. Being situated a
short journey away from the centre of Toronto and the
famous Niagara Falls, there are plenty of opportunities
for York University students to experience all that the
area has to offer. The university’s 350+ student clubs also
provide a great space to practice new-found language
skills, making the institute a perfect all-rounder for
international students irrespective of their current
English levels.
The judges commend YUELI for its preceding its
reputation and exceeding expectations in all areas of
Languages Canada audits. As they climb the ranks to
become the top English language institute in North
America, they still provide a personal experience for their
students, who are assisted by native English speaking
peer mentors, which also highly impressed the judging
panel. In what serves as a testament to their success,
YUELI are one of the few language schools to accept
students with no prior command of English.
