IH Bucharest has been welcoming students for almost
a decade as the market leader in language services
in Romania. A member of the International House
World Organisation, the team of language teaching
professionals offer a high quality and carefully
considered curriculum to enhance student engagement
and improve language learning. Located in the centre
of the Romanian capital, IH Bucharest demonstrates the

their language learning skills. With different options from
adult and children classes, to those aimed at professional

teaching of a world-class educational institute.
The judges are particularly impressed with IH Bucharest’s
CELTA course which became available in May 2019
through its partnership with the University of Cambridge.
It is currently one of only two language centres in
Romania authorised by Cambridge Assessment English
to run the four week intensive methodology course
for teachers of English as a second language. This
includes 120 contact hours of tutorials and feedback
delivered by experienced international professionals,
six hours of teaching practice and four assignments.
The course provides training in teaching skills, planning
and resources.
